Scholarships Provided by the Central Texas CCIM Chapter
The Central Texas CCIM Chapter is proud to announce that we have scholarships available to obtain your CCIM Designation. These scholarships were created to support qualified real estate professionals in their efforts to achieve the CCIM designation. Recipients should exemplify the high caliber of professionals that comprise the CCIM Institute.
Scholarship Selection Criteria

Each applicant should be able to demonstrate active involvement as a dues-paying member with the CCIM Central Texas Chapter.

Each applicant should be able to demonstrate a commitment to a commercial real estate career.

About The Scholarships:
- Scholarships can be used for the following courses/exams:
- Core Courses: CI 101, CI 102, CI 103, CI 104 (at least $1,000)
- Foundations for Success in CRE (one free course)
- Core Concepts Review (CCR) and Comprehensive Exam (award up to $750)

Can be used toward any CCIM Course offered in Austin, Texas and online/self-paced courses. Cannot be used for a course in another city. With the exception of the CCR Review & Exam which are held in different cities.

Must be used within 12 months of award date.

Scholarship recipients will need to supply their Certificate of Completion from their selected CCIM activity to receive reimbursement.
Scholarships Available
Butch and Rhonda West Scholarship
The scholarship was named for Butch & Rhonda West, CCIM to recognize the couple for their ongoing contributions to the commercial real estate industry. They started their commercial real estate careers in 1979, initially working in Texas and later in Hawaii. Both served as President of the Central Texas CCIM Chapter and as members of the CCIM Institute Board of Directors.

Central Texas Chapter Scholarship
The Central Texas Chapter scholarship was established by the CCIM Central Texas Chapter board.

Len H. Layne Scholarship
The scholarship is named in memory of Len H. Layne, CCIM who was one of the first CCIMs in Austin, Texas, and participated in establishing the Central Texas Chapter in 1979. Len earned his pin in 1980. Additionally, his son, Eric Layne, CCIM, followed in his footsteps and is a past president of the chapter and Jay W. Levine Leadership Academy graduate.

Commercial Industrial Properties (CIP) Scholarship
With 7 CCIM Designees in the office, including 3 past Chapter Presidents, Commercial Industrial Properties (CIP) is pleased to award an annual scholarship to the next generation of CRE professionals seeking the pin! Started in 1975, CIP has been an integral part of Austin’s growth.
